When I was a Kid

When I was just a kid we started going to the cabin for new year’s and we’ve continued the tradition ever since. I know my family likes to get together when they can for the holidays and now that I’m married with a family of my own they get to see their maternal grandparents and we usually just spend Christmas with Chris’ family. I love the tradition and I can’t wait to get up there – the cabin itself is so cozy and it’s got lots of rooms and dad says they’ve installed DIRECT TV which should make Chris happy so he can watch all the games. I just wish that time wasn’t moving so slowly because I can’t wait for another day off work and some major family time – my sisters are hilarious and we always have the best time when we get together. I also relish when the kids get to spend time with their cousins and there’s no better way for mom and dad to get to see all the grandkids at once.
