Show your support for Walgreens

This post brought to you by Walgreens. All opinions are 100% mine.

Customers have been voicing out their dissatisfaction over the many inconveniences they undergo as a result of the termination of contract between Walgreens and Express Scripts. Express Script is a company that handles prescription drug benefits and claims for health insurers’ clients and employers while Walgreens is the nation’s largest drugstore chain. The contract between them expired last December 31 which means that as of January 1, 2012, Walgreens is no longer a part of Express Scripts’ network of pharmacy providers. The troops that have been serving the country, their families, military retirees and supporters are signing a petition that demands access to Walgreens for all their pharmacy services needs. Changing their pharmacists or traveling to another pharmacy instead to a conveniently located Walgreens branch has been causing considerable inconvenience to customers who have health plans under Express Scripts. If you are in the same situation, do not be afraid to voice out your dissatisfaction. Prescription Savings Club at Walgreens has been launched in an effort to provide customers with a more convenient and cost effective way of availing of any type of pharmacy services. Members can avail of huge savings on brand name and all generic medications as well as discounts on purchases of nebulizer and diabetic supplies. They can also avail of bonuses whenever they buy Walgreens brand products. Follow Walgreens on Twitter and visit Walgreens on Facebook to more about the many promotions and services that Walgreens offers.
